Brooke House College Motorsport Academy is the first school dedicated to developing young racing drivers while giving them a full academic education, from age 12 upwards.
The Easter Training Sessions are intensive one-week racing courses designed to develop young drivers of all levels and abilities, aged between 12 and 18 years. They are also an opportunity for students to get a taste of what they can expect from the full academic session.
Students who decide to enrol in the full academic session starting in September 2015 will have their full Easter Academy fees reimbursed upon registration for the 2015/2016 year.
The Easter Academy course will provide classroom tuition on car control, racing techniques, fitness and nutrition, seat-time in professional simulators, as well as approximately 750 karting laps on track during the course of the week, culminating in a race day on the Friday.
Tutors include double Le Mans winner Darren Turner and Formula 1 Fitness Trainer Gerry Convy. Students will also have an afternoon away from the track to visit the fabulous Donington Collection of historic racing cars including the largest collection of McLaren Formula 1 cars outside Woking.
The cost for the full week including all meals, accommodation, transport between the college and the circuit, karts, fuel, tyres, team clothing, and a custom-made race suit is £2995.
